C A R E : THE SOLUTION FOR THE FACE © skin regenerating serum

A cosmetic preparation containing PHARMACEUTICAL GRADE, HIGH PURITY concentrated RESVERATROL for rational advanced skin care

Resveratrol is one of nature’s most potent free radical scavengers and antioxidants. It was contained in red wine and responsible for the “French paradox,” i.e., that inhabitants of Southern France who used to consume a lot of red wine had a much lower frequency of cardiovascular disease compared to other populations. Resveratrol's antihyperlipidemic and antihypertensive effects, cholesterol lowering capabilities, salutary effects on cellular growth regulation and immune responses and anti-inflammatory properties have been widely published in the scientific literature. The anti-aging properties of resveratrol have recently been breaking news worldwide, especially after the article in Nature by Baur et al. (2006).
That resveratrol improves endurance has been recently published (Lagouge et al., 2006).
Today, because of pesticides, there is no more than 1-3 mg t-resveratrol per liter of red wine. Resveratrol must be harvested from other plants whose extracts contain its useful levels. The daily dose used in mice in the published aging experiments (Baur et al., 2006) roughly corresponds to 1.7 g/day in humans, the equivalent of hundreds of liters of red wine.
Most of the commercially available extracts contain only a small fraction of resveratrol, the remainder consisting of unidentified and/or undeclared impurities of unknown biological properties.
This is why a pharmaceutical grade, high purity resveratrol is needed in any rationally designed skin care product where an effect is scientifically, dermatologically measurable.
If resveratrol indeed is a "key regulator of energy and metabolic homeostasis" as the authors have concluded, then we have an explanation why our CARE: THE SOLUTION FOR THE FACE©, based on a large amount of pharmaceutical grade, high purity resveratrol and grape seed oil, one of the few non-greasy oils of plant origin, has shown such effectiveness in reducing wrinkles in a controlled study.
An example of 3D computer generated images of a single scanned wrinkle viewed from the side. The relation between the wrinkle’s bottom and the skin surface layer is displayed in colors: the more uniform the color within the image, the closer the wrinkle’s bottom is to the skin surface, i.e., the shallower is the wrinkle.
